Welcome to Internet America's Airweb Support Pages

Airweb is a service that allows an individual or business to create, develop, maintain, and host web pages. Airweb offers access to a UNIX shell account and self-control over all aspects of web page deployment, including any Common Gateway Interfaces (CGIs) that the web pages require. CGIs that a web site uses do not need approval prior to being used, and can be written in almost any language.

Each Airweb account is assigned various amounts of resources, such as disk space, network bandwidth, number of logins and others. By assigning limits, each Airweb account is guaranteed to receive the allowed amount of system resources, and no other Airweb account can impact the performance of your account. Each of these resource limits are adjustable on demand, and the maximum number of Airweb accounts per computer is limited so that everybody gets the resources allocated to their account at all times.

Each Airweb account is isolated from all others. No customer can see or modify the contents of another customers Airweb account, apart from what anybody is allowed to see via web accesses. It is not possible for a customer to determine who else is logged-into the Airweb system.

Airweb includes common features such as PHP, Perl, Frontpage Extensions and SSL.
